In the case of normal engine, starter or battery failure will make the engine difficult to start, or even impossible to start. In this case, we should first understand the use of the starter and battery, so as to roughly judge the fault location. If the battery has been used for more than 1 year, should focus on checking its technical status; If the battery is used for a short time and has not been repaired for a long time, it should be checked from the starter. Then analyze and deal with the fault phenomena during startup:

1. Starting only hear the start of the electromechanical magnetic switch "gurgling" sound, or the first start when the starter drives the crankshaft to slow down a few times, and then the start of the electromagnetic switch "gurgling" sound, but the crankshaft does not rotate. This phenomenon generally belongs to the battery "off grid" fault.

2. Temporary parking can be started every time, but the parking time is long or the next day can only make the crankshaft turn. This phenomenon belongs to the serious self-discharge of the battery, and its plate and partition are seriously aging, indicating that the battery has been nearly scrapped.

3. When starting, the starter suddenly turns weak, and is accompanied by the smell of burning rubber or smoke at the battery, which is mostly pole pile and pole pile clamp with poor contact and burning.

4. If the idling sound of the collision between the driving gear of the starter and the gear ring of the engine is made during startup, there are two reasons: first, the cutting surface of the gear ring of the fly wheel is deformed; Second, the gap between the starter drive gear and the flywheel ring is too large. The two don't mesh, and the engine won't start.

5. As soon as the main power switch is switched on, the driving gear of the starter will rotate together with the ring teeth of the flywheel. First, the holding coil that starts the electromechanical magnetic switch is connected to the power terminal by mistake; Second, the three wires on the key switch are connected incorrectly. The judging method is as follows: when the key is in the "0" position, the drive gear of the starting machine does not rotate; when the key is in the "2" position, the drive gear of the starting motor rotates together with the tooth ring of the flywheel.

6. When the start switch is turned to the start position, the engine cannot start, and there are no other phenomena. This fault, one is the key, switch because of wear and tear and not connected to the starting circuit; Second, the relay of the starter is not connected to the magnetic switch circuit of the starter; Third, the power switch is not connected to the main circuit.

7. When starting, there is only a slight "click" sound, and no more reaction, which is caused by the starting relay card. At this time as long as press the electromagnet tail, forcing the electromagnet forward, you can start the circuit through, so as to start the engine.
